Supercharge your spirit every Sunday morning with Melanie McFarland and Ann Nicolaysen. Let's let it all go, reviving body and spirit.

Combining soul-stirring music with dance, martial arts and yoga-type floorplay, every Nia class is set to songs from a wide-variety of genres. Our emphasis is to serve up beats that elevate your spirit and your heart rate, all set to easy-to-embrace choreography.

Moving To Heal Nia

Moving To Heal Nia classes are designed to support people dealing with a wide range of issues from addiction recovery, insury, trauma, grief, and short-term to long-term illness. It is also a great introduction to Nia for beginners. Learn to listen to one's own body rhythms and become more attentive to comfort as a way to harness the body's natural power to self-heal. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Nia with JAG

Seattle's First Nia teacher, JAG is a First Degree Black Belt who has taught in almost every state in the USA as well as in Italy and Ireland. JAG is passionate about health and fitness and learning about our bodies. His classes are fun, athletic and informative.  You will be challenged physically and mentally and leave inspired, refreshed and invogorated. His classes are appropriate for all fitness levels as he teaches with the philosophy that each body has its own version of every movement.
