Combining soul-stirring music with dance, martial arts and yoga-type floorplay, every Nia class is set to songs from a wide-variety of genres. Our emphasis is to serve up beats that elevate your spirit and your heart rate, all set to easy-to-embrace choreography.

Moving To Heal Nia

Moving To Heal Nia classes are designed to support people dealing with a wide range of issues from addiction recovery, insury, trauma, grief, and short-term to long-term illness. It is also a great introduction to Nia for beginners. Learn to listen to one's own body rhythms and become more attentive to comfort as a way to harness the body's natural power to self-heal. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

The City of Lynnwood provides a beautiful facility for its community fitness. I'm happy to present Nia in Room 102.

Register online for class 69611 Jan 5 - Feb 9 or come early to register at the front desk.

Feb 16 - Mar 23 class 69612.

Six week sessions are $60; $51 for Lynnwood residents who provide a utility bill or other verification of residency.

Drop in fee $12.

Nia with JAG

Seattle's First Nia teacher, JAG is a First Degree Black Belt who has taught in almost every state in the USA as well as in Italy and Ireland. JAG is passionate about health and fitness and learning about our bodies. His classes are fun, athletic and informative.  You will be challenged physically and mentally and leave inspired, refreshed and invogorated. His classes are appropriate for all fitness levels as he teaches with the philosophy that each body has its own version of every movement.

1st Degree Balck Belt teacher Gayle Holeton, guides us through playful, heartelt, movement for body mind and soul.  All ages welcome.  

Session card $65.00  or 4 classes for $40.00.  Next session starts Nov. 5, 2017

Nia at Delridge Community Center

This Nia class is designed for anyone seeking an easy yet lively movement class with simple to follow moves that leave you feeling vital and happy. If you’re just getting back to exercise, or have special physical limitations, try this fun and satisfying fitness class. Done to enlivening music your body can't resist dancing to and taught with an emphasis on breath, balance, and awareness of the whole self.
